Now that BFB's over—wow, I can't believe I'm saying this—all the episodes have been completed and we can finally get an idea of who has spoken the most syllables in the show. I've never done this before, as a BFDI season hasn't been properly completed since January 2012, a few months before I discovered the series.

Unlike other line analyses I've done, I'm not just going to list the top five or ten most-speaking characters "so far"; I'm going to go all out and include them all. After all, there won't be an episode 31 outside fanfiction world!

But like all line analyses, there will most likely be spoilers, so beware if you haven't watched anything yet.

Top 20 speaking characters from BFB 30[]

10.5% of all syllables spoken in the entire season were spoken in this episode—that's 9,138 out of 87,377, so I was surprised that the number of syllables made by the most talkative one this episode was less than I thought. But that just shows how well written this episode was; it seems like everybody got a part.

There are eighty-two entities on these lists and Teardrop is not one of them. Since this only concerns BFB, the statistics I gollegdet from TPOT 1 are not included here.

Most-speaking voice actors in BFB[]

A very rough estimate; there are times where voice actors changed in the middle of the series, and I don't exactly know who I'd put down for the disembodied voices.

All data for this comes from the Other Wiki or from rewatched episodes.

  1. 1.0 1.1 In the first table, the rank change (from BFB 29) is shown directly after the name. If a name is written in italics, it means that they are not and have never been a contestant in BFB.
  2. "N.C." refers to a non-contestant.
  3. The episode(s) in which they were ranked highest compared to the others.
  4. The highest ranking they received in numbers of syllables spoken at the time the episode was reviewed.
  5. "Most talkative episode", or the episode in which they spoke the most syllables. Note that only in this column are episodes 13 and 14 treated as one—the lines for them were recorded at the same time, according to a Humany video. In brackets, episode 13 is referred to—albeit as parts of a single episode—as A and 14 as B.
  6. In the event of a tie (only one, with Woody), the episode with the higher proportion of speech among all speaking characters was given here.
  7. Of all the dialogue this character has had in the series.
  8. Tied with episode 29.
  9. In other words, 20% of the total number of syllables are spoken before or during the listed episode.
  10. The average episode number that a character has spoken in throughout the series.
  11. In other words, 20% of the total number of syllables are spoken during or after the listed episode.
  12. The percentage of syllables that were spoken after the split, i.e. outside of what Jnj call "Season 4a".
