The Stories of Real-Life BFB
Because The Real-Life Stories of BFB implies that it's happening in the real world, and because The Stories of BFB in Real Life carries a tone of overriding the canon. Just imagine Real-Life BFB to be the title of a TV show from the days of yore.
Actually, that's exactly what Real-Life BFB is: a TV show from the days of yore.
Author's note: I've decided to make this post to clear up some grey areas that were once there. Last year (i.e. a few days ago), I created a page with all the "human" names I used for the BFB characters just to see how inconsistent I'd been. It turns out there are a lot, maybe in the hundreds. Because my interest in BFDI has grown over the past few weeksBFB did not exist 48 years ago!
And this part is going to sound very public-te…
Preview for a brand-new (long) post!
Happy 1973—I mean, 2021!
I haven't been active on this wiki for a few days, but it's not out of laziness. I'm working on a post that I'm still figuring out how to structure. Having said that, I think it's going to be very long and it might even be posted in parts.
It's going to be another one of those "user-blog" posts since it doesn't have anything to do with , but it does concern the contestants of BFB. In the words of Flower, "every single one of them!"
Here's a preview in the form of an image: it's unfinished aesthetically, but I'll keep working on it over the next few days.
As for the text in this picture… there are no mistakes.
[Edit: I was wrong! TB was born not on the eleventh of September, but on the third of October (in 1916) as per a…
Speculating about TPOT
This post isn't about what's going to be in The Power of Two. It's not even going to be about who's going to be in it; that we already know. Two's going to be hosting and 41 contestants are going to be participating, including one recommended character. is that TPOT will most likely finish after 57 or 58 episodes, which will be released from June to July 2025. BFB will finish one to three episodes after that, from August to September 2025.
TPOT and BFB will most likely end in the summer of 2025.
Special post: “If X-MAS in Among Us was a BFDI Challenge”
In this review, I will attempt to review Jacknjellify's latest video, "If X-MAS in Among Us was a BFDI Challenge". Note the strategic capitalizing on "X-MAS"today is very nearly over and I want to finish it as soon as the spirit's still in the air. It's the first video that Jnj posted after I'd begun working on my "Ultimate Syllable Analysis" project, so this one caught me by surprise.
Disclaimer: I've never played Among Us before. I know of its existence the way that the average person does, but I don't understand the inner machinations of it, like, at all. That doesn't make the video unreviewable, though; people have been making Shakespearean commentary for centuries despite not living hundreds of years ago. If anybody wants to provide mor…
A very special holiday announcement!
I'm assuming that this is the sixth year that I've done a post like this, so I'll say it again. Merry Christmas to all! Also, Joyous Kwanzaa, Happy Boxing Day, etc., etc. 2020 has been rough on nearly everybody in the world but that doesn't mean we can't celebrate in the private parts—but it turns out that there are a lot of videos I didn't even know existed. Especially this year; I am not a very current-events-oriented human being so I don't have TikTok and am unaware of object show antics over the Twitter-sphere.
But right now, I'm hooked! It's like 2016 all over again! So here's the main part of my announcement: I want to keep making blog posts (not to mention get started on the post-split BFB reviews) and to continue to make miscellaneous p…
Special post: “Jingle BELL Rock 🔔 Song with Four, Bell, Seven”
"Merry Christmas to you, happy new year all year through, happy holiday to you!"
If it was socially acceptable for two American Jews from the last century to sing a Christmas song about Jesus, then I have no problem with one Canadian Jew in this century singing a Christmas song about rock 'n' roll. Or his appearing in a bunch of artwork from Twitter that depicts him as a Christian. but I'll admit to having laughed out loud to every single second.
That's all for "now", whenever that is.
Ha
Wait, it's too early!
Special post: “BFB Contestants React to Wiki Comments”
When exactly one week has passed since the release of the latest BFB episode, you don't expect much to be released in Jacknjellify's name. everything is fair game. Personally, I'd love to see the contestants react to some of the cringy fanfics I've made over the years.
Now I really love the people in the object show community. I don't know most of them, although I know that they're attracted to humour. A certain type of humour at that, but I think that's what needs to happen to keep the OSC young and healthy. Goodness knows we need more of that.
Season 4, Episodes 22 to 24
This is a really special post. So special that it deserves its own page here, combined with the review of the next episode.
I must admit that I haven't watched the episode yet (shocking!), but I was a little spoiled in the recommended section of YouTube... apparently there is something in this brand-new episode that will really change the events in a certain episode.

I hadn't been in the fandom for a while now, and at first I was skeptical about BFB's existance, in fact when I watched parts of BFB 1 and 2, I was completely disinterested, it was only after BFB 3 came out that I really started to get back into BFDI, however, BFB 4 wasn't so lucky...
It was with BFB 4 that I started to feel like BFB was becoming something a cashgrab. For those of you who don't know BFB 4 is my least favourite episode of the first 5, in fact it could probably be my least favourite episode in the series. While it did have it's mom…

Season 4, Episode 16, “The Escape from Four”
Being stuck in a quarantine (regardless of whether you are in an area where it's mandatory or not) is weird. I know that we're not at the point at which people are not dying left and right like some kind of apocalypse film, and one should hope that's not the case at all. For blog posts, that's a different kind of concern, unfortunately. About a month ago, I had posted a review of the new Jacknjellify video, "Apply to join BFDI! Animators, Audio Editors, Background/Prop Artists and More", but I accidentally deleted it by changing the file name so that it would appear as a user blog. Instead, I get this.
How does this even happen without creating an account? Sighs. Say goodbye to that unintentional PencilxPen collab, possibly.
It was still a hel…
Special: “You’re a Loser, But...”
Don't you just love moments like this? It's been a while since the last episode of that very famous object show, and you're presented with a surprise short!
I wasn't expecting this, so it was such a positive shocker to find this in my YouTube inbox. This brings us to the start of BFB's Pencil's birthday Valentine's Day short.
So Leafy and Pin are walking down this fancy background and they're having a conversation about Loser's party. Pin tells her to take that shit back because she was really talking about not being invited in the form of hastily defending her position of "boycotting" it. Lololololol. Seriously, though, it's a hell of a mood.
Leafy goes on and tells Pin that she's not surprised at that. For one thing, she's the 44th most liked…
Season's Greetings for 2019!
Even though it's not Christmas where I'm standing, it's already Christmas Day in Kenya, and that's early enough for me to wish all of you wiki-seekers a Merry Christmas.
It's also the third night of Hanukkah, and Saturnalia has just ended, Kwanzaa and Boxing Day are well to begin in two days, etc. etc., so if you're celebrating those festivals (or a combination of any of them), a Happy Holidays to you too.
So what's to become of the future of this website? Well, I'm working on a new episode in the new series, a sequel to "Date Knight" if you will. It involves the Schreibers joining a family-themed game show while Saye must pass an entrance exam for an elite school.
Season 4, Episode 15, “The Four Is Lava”
Hey, another episode review! I’m not planning on giving spoilers within the first paragraph, but I have to say that this is one of the greater episodes in this season so far.
So begins the last episode of the decade of BFDI. Seriously. Object shows were barely a thing anywhere in the world in the 2000s, much less on a YouTube platform where millions of people can click on them, and look here we are!
Pre-Credits Gag: Gelatin begins the show with that line “There isn’t enough room up here”, all before Flower pushes him into the lava landscape and dons a pair of cool shades. He loves to complain about there being way too little space, doesn’t he?
Meanwhile, Taco freaks out about Book’s finally realising that her actions damn right have conseq…
This always happens
I just got demoted from the OSC.
Why?
Because I blocked a user who was more or less causing trouble.
And people treated it like it was the end of the fucking world.
This always fucking happens.
I do something minor, People freak out and gang up on me, then someone with authority steps in and punishes me.
Fucking hell, this is just not right, how can this fucking happen?
Season 4, Episode 14, “Don’t Dig Straight Down”
By having posted this episode review about half a day after the original has been released, I must be breaking at least one rule on promptness and integrity and a lot of words that don't apply here. In all fairness, I had to watch this episode in the dead of night under a blanket so that no one would hear. Oh well, everyone's a sinner!
The episode begins right where we've left off. Thank you for making people realise that they must watch the previous episode if they don't want the current one to seem like a bunch of complicated nonsense... like this show, perhaps?
Pre-Credits Gag: We find ourselves at the part where Barf Bag narrates what everybody else had been thinking during the past month: “What is this place?” And then the theme song pla…
Season 4, Episode 13, “Return of the Rocket Ship”
Unbelievably so much as changed between the release of the last episode and this one. It's almost insane how different things can be; we've pretty much seen the cast of BFB evolve a lot more quickly than expected. But we are lucky that there even is a new episode in the first place; can you imagine if the twelfth episode were on hiatus forever? The fandom would lose it... and nobody wants to see the fandom lose it. So by the end of the episode, we are to assume that Death PACT may or may not make it out alive inside of Four's being. You know, this probably means that they will be closer to the EXIT. And that can lead to some very uhhhhh times.

BFB is back!
And it’s only been one year! I’ve forgotten how to do a review blog post, so I’ll be rejoicing/cringing at my old reviews, depending on how good/bad they are.

BFB musical???
Hey, people from tumblr are planning to make a BFB musical. If you’re interested in voice acting, animating, songwriting, etc. then join the discord server if you want. Or you can just look at the progress they’ve made.
https://discord.gg/V8QnFu
There’s like 60 people in this server, and people have actually finished coming up with some songs. If you’re planning on writing one, pitch it in the ideas channel or soemthing, but also look at the song list channel. There are some songs that probably aren’t being worked on, but ask for clarification. If you want to audition, I guess send an audio file of whatever character you’re voicing in the auditions channel. I’m not in this server, but my cousin is. (I kinda gave my account to her, so technic…
Season 4, Episode 12, “What Do You Think of Roleplay?”
It's been over a month since an episode premiered, thus there's been over one month in reviews. That's probably not a good thing solely for my reviewing abilities, but you have to realise that for Jnj, they've been busy with that BFDI–II real world mashup. (I saw parts of the videos—Everyone there was probably not old enough to drive yet, but it seemed wholesome unlike that Jake Paul convention.) Anyway, here's to twelve BFB episodes within a less-than-one-year period!
Pre-Credits Gag: We start off the episode with a good start. It's the shitty alliance talking to each other (Blocky, Eraser, Pen)—isn't it great to hear their voices again? Blocky mentions how he wants to start pranking people by murdering them, which, to the outside listener…
The Masterplan Storyarc Explained (pt 2)
so, we continue with my masterplan explanation
- 1 The Nightmare Begins
- 2 Day Of Armageddon
- 3 Devil's Planet
- 4 The Traitors
During a short trip to the coast, Xiemma and Citlali spot some military aircraft heading for kenya, when they try to run, some of the aircraft go after them, firing at them, but they manage to escape, meanwhile, the media is reporting on the situation, as book, bubble and ruby discuss plans to stop the siege, they come up with a solution and send it to jade, the sort of defense secretary of the governmemt, as the main characters realise that xiemma and citlali are missing, they turn to the media, Saye works out that a siege is going on and that X and C are caught up in it, the episode ends with pencil saying, in her typical acce…
The Masterplan Storyarc Explained (pt 1)
so, if you have been on the episode guide lately, you'll noticed i've added new episode (smug face), including a story arc in season 5 (what i think will be the final season of P2.0), here is the list of the episodes
- The Nightmare Begins
- Day Of Armageddon
- Devil's Planet
- The Traitors
- counter Plot
- Coronas Of The Sun
- The Feast Of Pencil
- Volcano
- Golden Death
- Escape Switch
- The Abandoned Planet
- The Destruction Of Time
I have claimed 4 episodes to write, they are: The Nightmare Begins, Devil's Planet, Golden Death and The Destruction Of Time, you may sign yourself up for writing and i will give you episodes to write, either two or three (TFOP will be uni-written)
the next 3 parts will talk about my ideas for the stories, it will go 1-4, then 5-8 and the finall…
Season 4, Episode 11, “Get to the Top in 500 Steps”
A Sunday release? Oh, it's too much happiness! But honestly, I wasn't expecting this episode to come out late. I have one of the animators (Hazel Cricket) in my subscriptions with signs pointing the way to “Give it another week”, but it was actually released! Unfortunately, making an episode review was not part of my top priorities on Sunday, but I did watch the episode and did a line analysis. So without further nonsense, here comes the eleventh BFB review!
Pre-Credits Gag: At the Exit, Liy and Pencil are talking. It had dawned on me that the probable reason for a four-week break between episode was because of all the 3-dimensional scenes, neatly put, of course. Liy wants to open a door that has never been opened before—doesn't that remind…
Season 4, Episode 10, “Enter the Exit”
This episode review will be special for two reasons: First, BFB 10 premiered about eighteen minutes ago (at the time of writing. It was 1 minute ago the last time I refreshed the page!), so this is the earliest review directly after the episode was released. Second, well, this is a very special episode, even more special than the self-proclaimed episode back at “4”. And about 4... you'll have to read the rest. Another interesting thing: The amount of comments on the episode more than doubled since this review started!
Pre-Credits Gag: So we start the episode with Cloudy sitting by himself, mourning that Balloony is dead. I think we've already reached the point where the number of deaths is significant enough to be noticed. X comes over, says th…
I need help
I cant load up any categories, like, when some big text under a small line says "characters" for example, cant seem to figure out what to do...
Season 4, Episode 9, “This Episode Is About Basketball”
This episode actually came out when I was still on vacation, so an immediate review (unfortunately) could not be released. But here it is, airing at a slightly late time. Don't get me wrong, this ain't a rant against X. Hello, the yellow fellow is really mellow.
Pre-Credits Gag: Marker wants to play eat the dirt, rather than toss the dirt. I don't understand why he is still in this competition, but this random outburst might have been the reason (so I thought then) for the title. The first time that I saw “This Episode Is About Basketball”, I sort of freaked out. They would never actually do a mainstream sport on this show, right? For BFB standards, that would be too normal! But Lord was I wrong, as you'll find out in this episode. Coiny sudde…
A letter to all recent vandals
Recently, a few pages on this wiki have been vandalised, being replaced with hateful messages. I wrote this to a particular vandal:
- Dear [REDACTED], I have blocked you from this wiki for a whole year for yourself to self-mature. This is my first time blocking someone, but you have vandalised this website for no reason. When you vandalise, you are literally helping nobody except yourself, especially when that contains offensive slurs and racism, two things explicitly banned in this wiki. I understand that you may be upset about the delay about BFB 9, but that is no reason to take it out on this website. If you do not like this page, please go somewhere else. Thank you for your co-operation.
There is no need for anyone to obstruct the views of …
Season 4, Episode 8, “Questions Answered”
Ooh, questions answered! That actually sounded like a cool title once I saw the notification this morning. I thought they were going to do a quiz panel about important questions the viewers had, like why Needle hates being called Needy or if there are any canon asexual characters.
Pre-Credits Gag: At the immediate start, we see Fries, but there something wrong with his, well, fries. My first thoughts were, Oh shit, that's X in there! It just has to be X! That's so creepy! before realising that I had just finished reading a really good fanfiction about Four and X. I don't want to give out any spoilers, but since people don't come here for reviews anyway considering his shocked look, but she is actually correct for once!
So Free Food are up for …
Season 4, Episode 7, “The Liar Ball You Don't Want”
Yeaaaah, before we break up and you lose me, little me, the liar ball you don't want... See? You can sing the song with that title! Anyways, I was a little apprehensive to see an episode come out after two weeks. There seems be a trend where the even-numbered episodes are pure object show gold and the odd-numbered episodes are
Before I make someone cry for some reason, here's the episode!
Pre-Credits Gag: We first hear some fucked up sounds when it's revealed that it is the laughter of the contestants playing with these weird semi-spheres. Well, playing is an exaggeration. The whole thing happens in like ten seconds and you can feel that you're in another dimension. Also, the old animation is back! People are now going to remember the style of…
Who are the most talkative characters?
... in the entire BFDI, BFDIA, IDFB and BFB series?
I recorded the number of syllables spoken in BFDI, BFDIA (including the episode 6 deleted scenes), IDFB and BFB and ranked them in a cumulative way. But I also took out all of the non-contestants on the show (including the BFDIA characters' rankings when they were on the show. Note that I won't be updating this graph as I do with the BFB rankings, but I might make one at the end of it.
- Leafy (since ep. 9)
- Pencil (#1 in only IDFB and BFB ep. 1)
- Golf Ball (very likely to reach 2 or even 1 in BFB)
- Coiny (until ep. 22 and after BFDIA 5e, ranked higher than Firey)
- Bubble (top 10 since ep. 9)
- Match (has never ranked under #7; #1 in ep. 8)
- Pin (#1 from ep. 1B to 4, out of top 10 from ep. 13 to BFB 3)
- Firey (top…
Season 4, Episode 6, “Four Goes Too Far”
Hooray, it's out! For some reason, I have really been anticipating this episode. My initial reaction to the title is “No shit.” Four has been so weird that it's impossible that he can get weirder in our eyes.
Pre-Credits Gag: We first start this episode with a Yellow Face advertisement. Good, Yellow Face is back! He actually hasn't had any lines since the second episode. To be fair, neither has Teardrop. Four interrupts the earmuffs and screeches in them, which seems really rude. Then Four dismembles Foldy into nothingness and kills Stapy rhythmically.
The balls of Team Better Name notice that, and Golf Ball proposes that they should multiply Four by zero in order to make zero. It's mathematics, in case you were wondering. They cut to the intr…
Season 4, Episode 5, “Fortunate Ben”
18–19 January Update
The first episode (review) of 2018 is out! I'm almost excited, but not as excited as I would have been had the Internet not been down. This might be the longest interval between the episode release date and its review, unfortunately, but that will hopefully change in the future—as with the speed of my computer. Whilst you were all waiting, though, have you watched the new Inanimate Insanity? One of my favourite parts of that episode was when This is just another step in the progressive direction of object shows since the summer of 2016 when Pen was revealed to be transgender! But seriously, on to the episode.
First of all, we start off with the title. Who the hell is Ben?, thought I, but that's not the most shocking part…
Merry Christmas 2017!
It's December 25th again, which means it's time for my yearly address to the wiki!
2017 was a crazy year. Although the first part of the year was pretty boring in terms of object shows: we were awaiting IDFB 2 and many object shows were on hiatus (including this one), the year ended up well for us: I found an easier way to transfer scripts from the phone to the computer, I don't actually fear typing profanity into episodes anymore, and of course the existence of BFB with all of the BFDI(A) contestants and then some.
So, to everyone, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, and I look forward to what 2018 will bring.
Season 4, Episode 4, “Today's Very Special Episode”
Ah, episode four. It's funny, because the host is also called Four, and I guess that is why they call it the very special episode. Usually, those episodes have the main characters say "Bullying is bad" or "Don't do drugs" or "It is bad to be racist" and shit like that. Starting from now, there will be screen grabs! I wanted to do that earlier from episode 1, but I was just lazy.
Pre-Credits Gag: Eraser approaches a friendly Bell, who appears to be sleeping. He asks her what her string is attached to, to which she replies with a vague answer, but Eraser won't have it. He demands that she should tell him what's above her string, and starts climbing—Fucking climbing. Like, what? Humanise this and you get ... something else.
I know most of your in…
IDFB isn't cancelled
I was just scrolling through tumblr, like I usually do, and I found a ray of hope for IDFB's continuation. It seems like isn't actually over.
I feel like this is solid evidence because troosy, the user who made that reply, is none other than Kenzie Bryant. In case you haven't heard, she is one of the voice actors of BFB. That means she's close with Michael and Cary, and can get god knows how much information she wants.
However, I don't 100% trust this because we all know jacknjellify isn't so good at promises. IDFB and BFB running at the same time is going to cause some complications. Of course, I wouldn't be disappointed if this tiny confirmation ended up being another let down. I would understand the struggle. I'm just saying that we might …
